Maci & Pups
Maci is a shepherd hound mix. She is heart worm positive and will be available for adoption after nursing and treatment. She is sweet, dog friendly except when protecting her babies, cats unknown. Maci weighs approx 40 lbs and is approx 3/4 years old. Father of the puppies is unknown.
Maci - VERY friendly, really wants to play but doesn’t quite know the ropes. Incredibly gentle, great bite inhibition.
From foster “Defers to all humans, no matter how young. Even my 4 yr old granddaughter can safely take food from her. A food guarder with other dogs. Will most likely always need to eat away from other dogs, but distance is not the issue. As long as the other dogs do not approach her dish, she is fine with them nearby. Will chase the cat, inside or out, but I do not believe she would harm the cat indoors. She enjoys dog play if not too rough. Smart girl. Great manners, but has a few things to work on. Loves attention.”
Maci is Heartworm positive and will need a calm environment while going through treatment that the rescue will cover. She has a foster we are looking for a foster to adopt at this time. She is a very sweet pup. Approx 35/40lbs. Approx 3/4 years

Brax’s boarding time is up next week!
He needs a foster or adopter. He has been with us months now!

Some dogs ✔️
Older animal savvy kids✔️
Med sized 50lbs
High prey drive✔️
Brax loves attention and loves to give kisses.
He would do well with someone that is home or works part time. He loves his person and just wants a family to call his own.
Luna NEEDS out of foster now, her foster can no longer keep her!! Please help! Needs out ASAP!
Ready for Adoption!!
Just shy of 2 years, OLDER animal savvy kids, some dogs ok, lots of built up energy (she was crated many hours a day). She would do great with a family that has someone home, time and patience.
Luna was in a training program and did incredible and will come with some sessions.
Hey everyone, meet BOBBY, a super fabulous 110 lb Great Dane mix. BOBBY is 11 years YOUNG and in great shape. If I didn't tell you his age you'd never guess it.
BOBBY's dad moved overseas and chose not to take BOBBY with him. BOBBY is okay with that because he knows he's going to be just fine. He has a lot of people (and me) working hard to find him a new home for his golden years. BOBBY is all about looking forward, not back, so he's ready and waiting for his special someone to find him.
BOBBY LOVES PEOPLE! He doesn't need a ton of exercise at his age, but a fenced in yard would be preferred so he can run around and play fetch.
BOBBY would prefer to be your only pet. He has lived with multiple dogs in the past but they drove him crazy when they got in his face. He's quite happy having only human companionship these days.
BOBBY is fully vetted. He has a few lumps & bumps but is otherwise healthy. He is eating Newman's Own organic Turkey & Liver Dinner canned dog food combined with the Natural Balance Vegetarian Formula dry food.
BOBBY is currently being fostered in Somers, CT.

Annabelle is about 3.5 years old, lab mix, allergic to chicken, fixed, up to date with health, on monthly heart worm meds. She has Perfect house manners. Only barks if warranted. Lovingly follows from room to room. She’s like a (young)old lady, who wants love and peace. Older animal savvy 13 and up children would be fine. She she is territorial of her home and property of new people/strangers. She would do well with a larger dog her equal. Cats unknown. No food or toy aggressions. Experienced dog handler.
Husky - Male
18mths - he’s still just a babe!
Calm, sweet boy
Good with some dogs and animal savvy kids, currently being fostered with a cat
Some anxiety when left alone, a person that’s home more often or someone working from home would be best, but this is something that can also be worked on with some training, love, consistency, and understanding.
Kai is young and eager to please, he is a husky and if you know about them they have their breed traits! They love to work, they are very smart and can be headstrong, but this boy is also a love bug.
Have you ever heard a husky sing?! *THIS IS THE SONG OF MY PEOPLE!* Such beautiful operatic voices they have!?
Breed experience adopter preferred, must be a strong handler and able to work with the ways of the wonderful husky.
Don’t miss a chance to bring this adorable, sweet, young pup into your family!
He is a gem!
Blue is looking for a new home to call his own!
Blue turned three on April 26th. He is a playful, hyper boy but is also the biggest snuggle bug! He loves to get belly rubs, go on walks (he even will hold his own leash while waiting for you to put your shoes on).
He does not like his paws touched, but is very polite about asking you not to touch them and pulls them away. He has a skin condition that at times makes him very itchy and red on his chubby little belly. He is on a strict diet and also takes Apoquil to help.
He has a sister named Nala, but other than that has never been around other dogs. Blue also has a human sister and is great with animal savvy kids! He is a good listener outside and has a good recall!
Sadie - female
Cane Corso mix
She is A healthy 75lb pup, UTD, spayed and microchipped.
- Cats and small animals - NO, high prey drive
- Dogs - Low key, gentle, chill dogs should be fine. She feeds off the energy of other animals and if they’re high energy then she is high energy.
- Kids - unknown. Dog savvy kids with proper introductions it may be fine.
She has never bitten anyone, she has no food aggressions.
Sadie is looking for a new home. She currently lives with cats and the stress of the situation has become too much for Sadie and her family. She can be ok with the cats one minute and then will turn toward them and ‘lock on’, however she has not hurt any cats but they do not want to take that chance. It’s best she go to a home with no small animals so that this will not be an issue.
She has been with this family for one year, she walks well on leash and has no food aggressions.
Please read up on the breed : Cane Corso
It is best she go to an experienced home with strong handlers who understand this type of breed.
Clear boundaries need to be in place, these doggies are very strong and very protective.
Positive training ONLY, but a strong handler is a must - I mean, she’s 75lbs after all! :)
Introductions to new people need to be done slowly so that she does not feel threatened at all. She needs to feel secure and understand that you are the alpha in the pack - but never using harsh training methods, of course!
She has some training currently but needs more consistency. She is a large dog who needs daily exercise to truly thrive.
Do you think you have room in your heart and home for his amazing dog who really just needs the right situation for her?!
Let us know!
3 year old
Approx 135 lbs
Animal Savvy Kids ok

Anxiety at vet and in cars
Bo can be high energy and he can be very lazy and shadow-like. Needs an EXPERIENCED strong, firm yet loving handler. Bo LOVES walks, he LOVES throwing the ball in the yard. He gets a little nervous with kid bikes and motor bikes. A bit untrustful of people at first he doesn’t know. It will take a few meets. He is NOT going to just anyone!
We feel he can benefit from obedience classes.

Miles and Petunia
Approx 11/12 wks
10-15lbs NOW estimated at least 110lbs

The expenses associated with them are yearly vaccines, male tusks might have to be trimmed and their hooves might need trimming yearly. Depends how they grow. Approx $300 a year.
No Negative Comments as they will Not be tolerated and removed.
Foster / Foster to Adopt Needed
Approx 8 months old
Jack Russell Terrier Mix
Older Animal Savvy kids (no acceptions)
Holly is a love bug but she needs some training. Holly has some issues with protecting her humans so when people come into the home she will bark, howl and go after them.
We would love to get her into an environment with dog savvy humans, no young kids and someone that will work with a trainer to help Holly be the best dog she can be!
